Happy holidays! Hope everyone celebrating the midwinter holidays is having a warm, wonderful time with family and friends. This week’s Fraser Correspondence addition is a series of short letters that show a glimpse into Charles, Mélanie, and the other characters from Beneath a Silent Moon, celebrating the holidays in 1817.
As most of these letters are written from Dunmykel, this seemed a good time to post a video clip on the setting for Beneath a Silent Moon.
Is the setting important to you as a reader and/or a writer? Do you like books set in Scotland? Do you think the setting in the Scottish countryside influences the moon and tone of Beneath?
And for fun–any thoughts on what Charles & Mel and company might give each other for the holidays? :-).
