Happy Friday! I’m in the midst of prep for my annual New Year party. I’ll be back with a longer post next week, but meanwhile, check out a couple of posts I’ve done on other sites. On History Hoydens I’m talking about Georgette Heyer and Warwick House Regencies and on the Merola Opera Program’s blog I’m talking about Don Giovanni and the complexities of desire.
Have a great weekend!!

I love Georgette Heyer’s books too. I tried to post a comment on the History Hoydens but it didn’t work. What are the Warwick House Regencies? I haven’t heard of them before.

Thanks for posting, Suzanne! So sorry you had trouble posting on History Hoydens, but I think your comment actually did post – it seems to be there, unless it’s a different Suzanne. So glad to hear you love Heyer as well. The Warwick House Regencies are Regency Romances I co-wrote with my mom Joan Grant, originally under the name Anthea Malcolm. They’re lighter than the books I write now but I was definitely experimenting with themes, styles, and subjects that now define my work. I blogged briefly about them a couple of weeks ago and will blog more soon. I’ve just put the first three, Widow’s Gambit, The Courting of Philippa, and Frivolous Pretence out as ebooks, now under Tracy Grant.

My post of History Hoydens ended up working, they must have a delay. It just seemed to kick me out but then it turned up later. I have all of your regencies but I didn’t realise you called them the Warwick House Regencies. They are delightful and I am really pleased they are coming out in kindle. As I said before, my copies are so old and well read they are coming to the end of their life and are ready to be replaced.
