It’s finally here! Gilded Deceit will be out tomorrow, May 15! So excited for it to be in readers hands and to be able to discuss it.
Here’s another glimpse of a piece of furniture that could be in the Rannochs’ villa, a beautiful Venetian secretary desk c. 1730-35 from the Metropolitan Museum. It might be in Malcolm’s study – a good place to lock away pieces on evidence or some of the much-sought after papers that feature in the story…

Just like the table, this is so grand. The phrase “statement piece” comes to mind. So interesting!
I can’t remember if you said, Tracy – will there be a paperback or not? Just wondering as I prefer it to an e-book.

Yes. there will definitely be a trade paperback. It should be up for order soon. I got my author copies a couple of weeks ago.

Thanks – that makes me happy. I will probably be behind reading it but I just got my copy of Candy Harris’ new book from the library so I have to read and return. (I don’t collect them like I do yours ;-}.) So maybe the paperback will be out by the end of the week. I am getting excited!! And trying not to read our book group for a couple of days.
