Gilded Deceit is out, both as an ebook on all platforms and a trade paperback. So excited to have the Rannochs’ Lake Como adventures out in the world. Do share your impressions, either here or on the Google+ Group where we have a lively discussion going (and are very friendly to lurkers and new members!).
Gilded Deceit’s release coincided with my birthday, which I celebrated with Mélanie and friends in Oregon. I’ve been gleaning inspiration for the Rannochs’ next adventures at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival – particularly fun to see a wonderful Henry IV Part I, which is the play in which Malcolm and David met Simon and Oliver in an Oxford production when they were undergraduates.
Cheers,
Tracy

Thank you, I did! The cupcake I’m holding was a special surprise from Mélanie that she picked out with the help of a friend traveling with us. It’s actually soap and came with a very pretty soap dish she also picked out!

Happy belated birthday! Since I am an impatient person, I read Gilded Deceit as soon as I downloaded the ebook. T will be fun to see what happens next. On another thought, have you thought of publishing all the shorter eBooks in a single trade book for those who don’t do eReaders? Lee Child just did that with his Reacher short eBooks. Just a thought as I don’t want any of your fans to miss out on Malcolm and Suzanne/Melanie’s adventures.

Diane, what an inspired idea!

We have talked about it. It would probably have to be just the NYLA ones at this point, but we’d love to make it happen!

Great to know you read Gilded Deceit so fast, Diane!
For the novella collection idea, see below.

Happy, happy Birthday! You don’t look a day older than you did when I first started reading your blog! Lucky girl! Hope you and Melanie had a wonderful time.

Thanks, Lynne! Maybe it’s good lighting, but it’s nice to hear. We did have a lovely time!
